(Vista)— A.K. Martial Arts & Fitness has announced its' annual Pay It Forward Program that will directly benefit local elementary, middle and high schools.
From August 23rd through September 21st, AK Martial Arts & Fitness will donate 100% of the one month's Pay It Forward tuition from new students participating in the program to any local, accredited academic school of their choice. "We designed this program to specifically help our local community schools and allow families to try out our martial arts and fitness program at the same time." said Margueritte Gilvey, Owner. "This is our second year providing this type of program and we are dedicated in making this a yearly commitment. We have increased the donation amount this year from 50% to 100% due to the economic cut backs experienced by local schools. Our ultimate goal is to expand the program to include other local martial arts organizations that want to help their communities."
There is not additional cost or obligation for this one month program. All donations will list participating students and payments will be made directly to each school's PTO organization.
